It is only one day,
A day without caring for a four legged friend.
My ears are alert for clicking feet, as my idle hands search for soft fur
There is nowhere I would rather be than outside on a hike with thee
This one day, for just me, brings out the lonliness and thoughts that little pets consume
Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow again
I love my job beyond words can express.
